I started this blog to chronicle our summer trip around the world. We have this amazing opportunity to explore new countries and cultures, and I want to savor it.

 

A Blue Sky represents adventure, optimism, and wide open possibilities. It’s a chance to let go of everyday responsibilities and discover new things about the world and myself. Most of my favorite family photos feature a big blue horizon – happy times when we’re enjoying the outdoors together.

 

I know it won’t all go according to plan. By definition, we’re going to be in foreign territory and be outside our comfort zone. We’ll just have to roll with it and let the surprises be part of the fun.

 

One of the best things about being a parent is to experience the world through the wide-eyed wonder of your kids. Or, better yet, have an excuse to be a kid again yourself. I’m going to do that a lot this summer!

 

So, we’ll see what possibilities this big world has in store for us. Here’s to many more blue-sky days to come.
